Just like other convention i have observed when looking at college magazines, are their young people which are incorated within a fun style with loads of pictures. This magazine may have a simple design but has bright bold colours which stand out the colours used, help to applie it to this certain college these colours layes with in the logo.
The tone of the magazine is very livly just like the busy socail life this is shown by balckground colours. The picture of a stundent in a meduim shot shows student working this helps to show the other side to college life the conataion we get from this, hours of corsework, with a degree at the end of it this, within that many hours of hard partying and drunken legless nights.
The pull qutoes are in a white which stand out agaist the dark blue backgroud in a bold white front helps to draw the reader in and gives them a tiny insite of what in the magazine which makes them want to read the magazine.
